The Every Day Capacity Building Grants provide funding to strengthen the organizational effectiveness of community-based nonprofits who serve public land sites in the United States. The grants assisted the groups with strategic planning, branding, communications and marketing, volunteer management and improved fundraising. The projects advanced the organizations' ability to carry out their strategic goals and make them more sustainable.
The Every Day Capacity Building Grants are sponsored by Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. Since 1999, Toyota has been the national corporate sponsor of the National Environmental Education Foundation's (NEEF) National Public Lands Day. In 2011, Toyota and NEEF expanded this partnership to launch the Public Lands Every Day Program - building capacity for friends organizations supporting public lands throughout the nation. The Every Day Capacity Building Grants are just one of the great offerings of the Public Lands Every Day Program.
